Ok so on Twitter last night Wale seemed upset about this Post that Complex magazine did about him, and I kind of felt bad because it seem like they dogged him. So when I got to school today I checked out the post and even though it is a little wrong it is kind of funny lol... sorry guys. I bang with a lot of the artist that they spoke about from Drake, Kid Cudi, Asher Roth and even Wale. But at the end of the day it’s all fun and games, being around some of the people that work for complex and actually write the blogs. So the girls decided we wanted to travel to India for the night, and i can say that we all had a great time. Like always im late with my posts but better late then never i say. So this past week i got to experience Fashion Week as a Fashion Editior thanks to my boss and i had the best time of my life. It was my first fashion week experience and i loved every part of it. I got to go to some shows, events and even a basketball game at the garden. I stayed in NYC from Tuesday thruThursday and besides the fact that i only got about 2 hours of sleep every night i had fun. So shout out to Eric, Kelly, Anoma and Maria Thanks Guys. Ok so i don't really celebrate Valentines day like that, i feel like its over rated. But this year V-Day was a little different. The girls and I were in the mood to cook so we invited the guys over and had a homie v-day dinner and the food was amazing. We had mango chicken with yellow rice and corn, yummmmm. Besides it being Valentines day it was also my BFF's Don Don's B-day which made the day extra special. We made this bomb ass Oreo cake that everyone loved. Over all the night was great. We played kings and got drunk then the guys and girl battled it out in karaoke lmao it was the funniest thing ever. So shout out to everyone who was there i hope yall had a blast bc i did. LMAO, at Dizzy, Kyle, JU JU, Nolo and I for being the biggest loafers in the world on Friday. We got up like around 10 or 11 a.m and loafed all day till we finally got up and headed to my house. So i woke up this morning feeling sick, thinking in my mind how doing all this homework is going to suck.But something hit me when i looked at the date to day is a very important day in my life not in a good way but it means a lot because it made a huge impacted. Before 2004 i never had someone that i knew die period, but as far as someone dying because another person took their life that was all new to me. Ahferom Neguse who i knew through the Eritrean Philly community had his life taken on Jan 2, 2004 in front of his house. His Birthday is on Febuary 8 which is the same day one of the coolest guy i ever met also got his life taken. Robel Medhin who passed on February 8 2005 was a sweet guy from Bronx, New York who had the biggest heart. Having a conversation with him you would ask yourself why does a person like this live in Bronx he was the type of person who would love to smile a joke around all day. From all the guys i know in NY i always had a big connection with Robel. He would always call with his random checkups and we would just laugh for hours on the phone. Robel reassured me that there were good guys out there like him, sometimes they just have masks on because the world isn't ready for nice people. So when i got that phone call to tell me that someone took his life, it broke me down like i never been broke down before. The friendship i had with Robel was more then people knew, he impacted my life in many ways so not having him here sucks so much not just for me but for all the other people lives he played a major role in. I love you Robel and i will never forget you babe...RIP

Ok let me get a little soft for a minute, for those who know me best they know that i was once a daddy's girl. until i lost touch with him when he moved to Italy when my mom and him got a divorce. But i speak to the man here and there whenever he feels on giving me a call which i enjoy because im always going to be a daddys girl at heart, but at times i hate those random phone calls. So pops has been calling latly because im suppose to be going to Italy after i graduate to chill for a little but in my mind i can only wonder how that will go. Will i spaze on him and let him know how disappointed i am at him for leaving or will i keep it in and say fuck it like i do with a lot of shit...Who knows. I love getting put on to new things and people. Today i got put on to a very talented person and i can't stop listening to all her original songs she put out on Youtube. She goes by Kayte Grace but her real name is Kayte Dzime-Assison yeah i did my research. If you haven't noticed this talented girl shares the same last name with one of my homies, my right hand man, my twin but ill let yall figure that out lol. But back to Kayte not only does she sing but she also acts. She played in many shows from one of my favorites Gossip girls, the Wire, Law and Order etc. What can i say the girl is talented but i guess talent runs in the family because her brother has a lot going for himself to. I glad to say i intern for them, but any who the cover features Kobe Bryant and Elisha Cuthbert. Its great to see what all your hard work goes to, on my bus ride back i was flipping through the pages and i noticed a few things that i helped out in which touched me a little. Every Thursday Silk City is where we end up going, so it was only right to post something about the madness that goes on in Silk City. Silk City is a dinner/Bar where people go to just have fun a cool out. I love it there because you can just wear what u had on that day and go, you always end up seeing someone you know in there and by the time it hits 2:00 you at least had to be on the dance floor once because the d.c put on one of your favorite songs and also the alcohol finally kicked in lol. It can get very crowded in there but i can't say i ever seen i fight break out in there, everyone just wants to have fun a party. So if you haven't been yet hit up Silk City on Thursday night and visit the bar side and also the dinner because there food is GREAT!

Thursday night was a good night i went to go see the 3-d scary movie I think it’s called my bloody Valentine. I mean it being in 3-d made it so much better but the story line was great bc you didn't who the hell the killer was for a minute. Also the 3-d glasses they gave you were official looked like some 3-d Ray-bans lol. The night got even better after the movies because I went to go support my Britt Britt and Raven Lounge because shorty is a bartender, I’m so proud of her. I'm so glad everyone came out and supported our Brittany and I know she got the job because we defiantly had more people in her section then the whole place. The music in there sucked but the board games they had rocked, I know who plays board game in a lounge? We do lol... So i got up mad late this morning and got up right as the inauguration started which was ok because it seemed like half of America was down at the mall. I got to record the speech a most of the inauguration on my camera and once that was over p.dot my little brother and i got dressed and head to join the festivities. We took the metro into the d.c and i boosted that the buses were free today saved $2.50 lol.Everywhere we went it was packed with people going and coming back from d.c but it felt to see all these different people come together because of Obama. Once we got down there it was crazy we didn't to get that close to the parade but we got to share the historical moment with a lot of other people who were waiting in line to get closer to the parade. One thing i can say is that a lot of people made money off Obama, ever where i looked someone was selling something from t-shirts, calenders,c.d's,key chains and my favorite Obama Hot Sauce i have to get the video Patrice got of this man selling his Obama Hot Sauce lol. There was also this Ethiopian lady who had this sign that went hard she worked hard on it... what can i say east Africans go hard. But i had fun and i was glad to be in d.c on this historical day it was worth freezing my ass off. Its not because he's a black man its because he's the right man for the job... My president got Swag and boy is he great

Commonwealth/Adams Morgan/Metro Fun!!!

So last night was a ball, best fun i had since i been here and i want to thank everyone who was there especially Dizzy my right hand man aka twin. Patrice, Justin, Kyle, Chris and VJ was there too and it was really good to see the Philly crew. Besides that the vibe was cool as hell, i met cool peoples and the music was great. Also Bun B has to be one of the coolest celebs i have ever talked to, shout out to him. After the party everyone split up and me and pat pat ended up meeting some people and going to this spot called chi-cha (or something like that) Shout out to them they were a pack of cool ass people. It was nice in there we have to go back there one day, but after that we ended up going to some shisha place on Adams Morgan and got some food and did some peach flavored shisha. Good Times minus having to take metro back home but it was a fun adventure besides the cold ass weather (shout out to Washington Post and all those other newspapers we got that morning). So i still haven't been out the house to join all the fun that happening in my city, but the dryness will end tonight the girls are hitting up LOVE with a bang. But some good has come out of me spending time at home, one i cleaned up my brothers room so they can have more space, my other little brother is coming back too so that a good thing i love that boy. Everyone and there mom's is throwing a party from Friday to Tuesday night and boy is everyone making money off of Obama. I mean this shit is crazy I refuse to pay more than $20 to get into a party that just not my style. The sad thing is it’s a recession and people are really charging $75 and up to get into spot, hot or not they charging crazy at the door. 1st Day Of School

OMG School is back in session, and I still need like one more week of rest lol. This is my last quarter and I’m happy/scared I mean the economy is so bad people are getting laid off not hired so well see what is in store for me. Besides that I got up like 6:30 to get ready for my 1st day of school and I as of 11:10 I’m already tired of it. My 1st class was cool and I know I’ll ace it but the fact that I have another class after this blows my mind. I’m just sitting in the computer lab trying to waste time, I mean the good thing is I can update my blog and get work done so I need to stop complaining. Hopefully all my other classes are cool and this quarter won’t be stressful but I doubt that I have Fink and Klauer and if you go to AIPH you know that’s a blower. Biggest blower is I have Klauer twice in Thursday OMG I can’t wait to see how that goes. I see time going by really fast this quarter just because my schedule is going to be crazy Monday I have two classes morning and afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday I’m going to be in NYC interning, Thursday I have two more classes and Friday-Sunday is chill/H.W/party/maybe get a job day…lol. We shall see what happens but I hope everyone has a great quarter and gets bomb ass grades and I can’t wait till graduation day best believe there will be a huge party.

I can say I met a lot of people these past few months, some cool ass people at that I wish I met some of them sooner but things happen for a reason. Any who Northern Liberties is kind of like my second home especially because my home girl Phylicia lives there I use to always be by North Bowl area I mean like all the time its crazy, I miss those days. But back to the point I recently met the Made to Order boys and I always heard about the store back in my WTHIN days but I never knew where it was. So I finally got some time to go to the store and come to find out I walked by that damn store so many times and never noticed it lol it was kind of funny. So I finally got to visit my homies at the store and I must say I liked what I saw, besides the fact that they don’t have that much girl stuff the store is pretty nice. Nice use of space and the art work goes hard, so if you haven’t had the pleasure in shopping or even going to the MADE store I suggest you go by and take a peak its worth it. Besides the store being hot the owners Phil and Justin are cool peoples, very funny too. Shout Out to Phil thanks for putting me on to that new drink and Justin for hanging out when I was bored as hell… I HEART YOU GUYS

Rochelle and I intern at complex together but she has been there much longer then I have and she works in the photography/art department. Just to give you some quick info on my homie she goes to Art Institute and I think this is her last quarter and she majors in Photography home girl is sick with the camera, yall better watch out this girl is on the rise. She has accomplished a lot since she moved to Philly and today I got to witness another one of her accomplishments, her photo’s made it on Complex’s blog they came out great and boy am I jealous that she got to meet Michael Jordan lol. Ok so growing up I was kind of a daddy's girl so I could say a part of me was a tomboy not really but that’s what people would say. So i had to post about the best internship i ever had. Complex Magazine i so love it there i mean i couldn't ask for a better internship. I always knew i didn't want to work in high fashion because its just not me i mean i can do it if i wanted to, trust i worked at Oscar del la Renta and it was mad cool but i rather be surrounded by down to earth people who love their jobs. I'm the type that wasn't a job where i wake up every morning and I'm happy to go to work, i rather be happy doing nothing then to do something i hate that's just me i cant just do something because of the money bc its not gonna last I'm gonna get tired of it, money isn't everything to me but happiness is. Ok but back to Complex i work in the fashion department and every day i go in i learn something new i have the best bosses i could ever ask for. Their is Fred who i work with the most and i so heart him hes the coolest then there is kelly who is so down to earth and very cool, Then their is Anoma who is the boss lady she goes hard i so wanna be her. I'm glad god blessed with this experience because its truly great if i haven't said it enough i love it there. Stay tune to more post about my different experiences at complex.

The Anmlhse anniversary party was great!!!! i loved it i can honestly say it was wayyy wayyy better then New Years, i great way to start 2009. So yesterday before i went out i got to spen some quality time with my homeboys that i love very much so. Jack and Reggie once again they are one of the coolest people you will ever meet. What can i say i roll with a pack of cool ass ppl. So the three of use are laying on my bed like we 5 and just chillen jammin to music. They are kids at heart but very mature and well spoken at the same time... they have brains and they grind hard "that's what they give you". So any who i enjoy every time we hang out because its filled with nothing but jokes and laughter so i had to write a post about them and plus i told Jack i would... Shout out to my Black Jack. Besides the fact that they are cool as shit Jack and Reggie also do other things besides make me laugh lol from there famous videos to there company The 400 (a business management firm) these two are on there way up.... hanging out with them youll see that they just cant live normal lives they have this aura about them that just makes them special.... its weird but it makes so much sense but let me stop i dont wanna gas their heads up that much. Ok so i have two best friends my female one name Seret and Jay my male best friend... those are my hearts. But in the 09 i had to recruit one more person to the roster if you don't who I'm talking about, her name is Patrice (aka Pat Pat aka P dot aka PJ) lol. Me and Patrice have been homies since my second year in the art institute and we been holding strong ever since she is one of the best roommates you could ever have, we been roommates in 3 different places now and when we graduate its going to be 4. So let me get deep now so i can make her cry lol.. Patrice gets the spot of my best friend because even though we come from two different worlds she tries very hard to relate to my problems and she tries help in any way she can. We fight me scream we ignore and annoy each other but at the end the day we laugh because we both know that we are both some evil bitches at times. I love her parents and her brother and his two cats lol, i love her little voice that i can never hear and how she carries herself i wouldn't change anything about her. Your good your bad i love it all and i am honored that you call be your best friends and i love the fact that your mine. OMG I THINK I MIGHT HAVE TO INVEST IN WIRELESS INTERNET... I have been stealing wireless connection through out my college years and these past few days have been hell bc I could not get any type of connection. I feel so lost without my internet but now I'm chillen in Starbucks on a Sunday straight chillen getting my blog on. Shout out to Starbucks... Thank you so much i have so much to write about its not funny i would put it all on one post but i think each and every subject needs there own separate it just wouldnt be right to but them all in one. But while im on this post ill update yall on what happened on New Years, so if you didnt know i was blown shit wasnt working out and i really did want to go to NYC to hang out with my homegirls but that didnt happen. I was convined i was gonna stay home till Patrice and Kyle changed my mind (thanks guys i heart yall). So we eneded up going to old city me and P. dot hit up mint and got our long island on and then met up with everyone at Blue Martinie. It was a ok night could of been better but hey if was last min shit so it is what it is. After Blue Martine we went to Anmlhse to say whats up to the boys... and i really felt like i was at home... i love them. I can say that was the best part of the night even though there was only like 10 ppl there lol we still had fun beong drunk and stupid. So things didnt go as plan but at the end of the day i spent New Years with ppl i love so it got my mind off a lot of things... Thanks everyone i love you guys 2009 is gonna be a great year. HAPPY NEW YEARS MY GOOD PEOPLE.... just wanted to say that before everyone went out and got shit faced, hope everyone has a great time have fun and be safe. As for me i think i might stay in this New Years, i had so big plans but they not falling together like i want them too. Long story short my time got cut short and i couldn't get everything done in time, so its 4:23 and im in bed and a part of me is sad but i think im ok with it. Besides the fact that both of my best friends aren't with me and i feel like i let a lot of people down... yeah im cool i guess ill be iight. But any who 2008 was a good year but we shall see what 2009 has in store for us.... Ill keep you posted on how my night turns out.

Sooo I finally back in Philly I was suppose to come back on Sunday but I wanted to spend time with the brothers before they left and also we had some minor problems but all is well now and I’M BACK MY PHILLY PEOPLE. Winter break was cool I got my camera swag back so I have to post some pics up that highlight my trip. Other then that the ride back seemed so long but my iPod was rocking so it kept me and P Dot (Patrice) busy… Shout Out To P Dot I Love You Girl. Also I want to say RNB can so hit the spot when you’re in the mood for it I feel like I’m losing my voice from all the singing I was doing, sometimes I wish I could sing bc lord know I love to. NEW YEARS is going to suck this year our best friend New Year’s tradition is being broken and I still don’t have a dress or my hair done. So idk what I’m going to do I was suppose to go to NYC but Idk I can’t do new years In NYC and be rushed. I feel like if you’re going to do new years there you have to do it up and I have already worn all my dresses in my closet I can’t bring in the new years with an old dress. It is just not my style… but we shall see what happens if not NYC this will be the 1st time in Philly for new years for a long time. Brings back old memories ewwwwwww bad memories at that lol. Ok so its Sunday 10:13 and I’m chillen at home with the brothers was suppose to be in Philly so I can go to Complex tomorrow but I felt bad because I haven’t hung out with my brothers as much as I wanted to so we hanging all day 2morrow and tonight. Other then that I just got back from having dinner with my best friend Jay and I had some good sea food at The Fish Market in Old Town. Yall should try it out if yall love sea food, also try Bus Boys and Poets I love that place too they just opened up a new spot in 5th and K I think or somewhere near there idk look it up. But any who I haven’t seen jay in the longest and he sucks as a best friend but I still love that little nigga we have this great love hate relationship that we both can’t get enough of. I’m trying to get his ass out to Philly but he be faking but if he keeps his word he should be coming up soon. Ok so today has been one of the longest days of my life. I thought black Friday was crazy check out the day after Christmas, I went to pentagon city and the whole world was there kind of a blower. Other than that it was a great day spent time with my brothers who I love and I got my oldest youngest brother wearing blazers....it’s the cutest thing ever they getting old. ok so I started the 1st half of this post before I went out and now I’m ending it its 4:48 in am and I just got home from LOVE.... fyi I haven’t been there for like a year or a lot of months but any who let me start off where I ended. The reason why I have lady gaga and kanye west c.d pics are bc those are the two c.d's I had on heavy rotation today. Both c.d's go hard kanye over lady gaga but I fuck with her I see her making a come up. I just got put on to her and she kind of goes hard she has a little funky feel to her. I real get the party started c.d lol Other then that I went out with my sister and my heart Patrice today (if you don’t know Patrice is my roommate/best friend) and we had a good time till the end where I lost Patrice and I felt like the world was ending bc I didn’t know what to do I felt like I had to find her the worst part was I had her purse with all her things in it and her jacket and because I know her parents and I would hate to call them and tell them that I don’t know where their daughter is.... I love them too much to have to give them that phone call. but other than that the night ended in a bad way bc me a certain person so I feel like it’s time to go back to Philly I dunno if I’m saying this bc I’m on or bc I feel like I was disrespected. This is the start of something new...

OK OK OK.... So this is my first post and I’m hella excited i was talking a new friend of mine shout out to E (he's sick with his hands...and i mean drawing) but any who we were talking about hobbies and i noticed i really didn’t have none. I spend my days in School at home doing H.W in NYC at Complex going out on the weekends and catching up on some sleep. Besides that i listen to music get on the internet you the regular Facebook/Myspace.. then my dose of Blog sites from Kanye, Conreteloop...etc. But any who So my new hobby is starting up a blog i always kept a diary but i haven’t wrote a entry for a min so i feel like this will be the start of something great. Also help me get a few things out there might even relieve some stress sometimes... who knows only thing we can do is stay tune to see what the future brings lol. Its just mad funny how i decided to start it on Christmas i always had a account but never had the time to put some work into it but now I’m putting some effort into my new project....Check out the snoopy pic if you know me you know snoopy is my favorite character so who else would i have as my christmas pic but him...Snoopy go hard lol. Well enough about that lets talk about Christmas i hope everyone has a great day and got what they wanted.
