Johnny Cupcake vs Pastry

Ok so i love Johnny Cupcake and i own a couple of his shirts, i also bang with the Simmon sisters i dunno about there pastry line but they seem like some cool girls. But when i saw this i was upset i mean COME ON PEOPLE wheat do you pay your workers to do. I mean its like they just took all the ideas from Johnny and called it Pastry there is to much creativity out there in the world to have another brand copy johnny cupcakes ideas. First it was Billabong now Pastry, come on girls take some of dads money and get yourself a new design team.

Talented

I love getting put on to new things and people. Today i got put on to a very talented person and i can't stop listening to all her original songs she put out on Youtube. She goes by Kayte Grace but her real name is Kayte Dzime-Assison yeah i did my research. If you haven't noticed this talented girl shares the same last name with one of my homies, my right hand man, my twin but ill let yall figure that out lol. But back to Kayte not only does she sing but she also acts. She played in many shows from one of my favorites Gossip girls, the Wire, Law and Order etc. What can i say the girl is talented but i guess talent runs in the family because her brother has a lot going for himself to. So make sure you go on Youtube and check out some of her stuff she has a different feel to her music, shes like a mixture of a lot of things so i know yall will like it. FYI she is on Youtubes homepage under Featured Videos she has 90,451 views in 2 week. Do your thing girl!

NEW COMPLEX MAGAZINE

HOT off the press. The February March magazines came in today and once again Complex did it and they always do it oh so well. I glad to say i intern for them, but any who the cover features Kobe Bryant and Elisha Cuthbert. Its great to see what all your hard work goes to, on my bus ride back i was flipping through the pages and i noticed a few things that i helped out in which touched me a little. There is so much behind the scene work that has to be done so that the end result can look so bomb. So look out for it even though your going to wait a little while lol. Feeling Silky...

Every Thursday Silk City is where we end up going, so it was only right to post something about the madness that goes on in Silk City. Silk City is a dinner/Bar where people go to just have fun a cool out. I love it there because you can just wear what u had on that day and go, you always end up seeing someone you know in there and by the time it hits 2:00 you at least had to be on the dance floor once because the d.c put on one of your favorite songs and also the alcohol finally kicked in lol. It can get very crowded in there but i can't say i ever seen i fight break out in there, everyone just wants to have fun a party. So if you haven't been yet hit up Silk City on Thursday night and visit the bar side and also the dinner because there food is GREAT!

Thursday night was a good night i went to go see the 3-d scary movie I think it’s called my bloody Valentine. I mean it being in 3-d made it so much better but the story line was great bc you didn't who the hell the killer was for a minute. Also the 3-d glasses they gave you were official looked like some 3-d Ray-bans lol. The night got even better after the movies because I went to go support my Britt Britt and Raven Lounge because shorty is a bartender, I’m so proud of her. I'm so glad everyone came out and supported our Brittany and I know she got the job because we defiantly had more people in her section then the whole place. The music in there sucked but the board games they had rocked, I know who plays board game in a lounge? We do lol... SO it was a great night I had a blast I got to see all my peoples who I haven't seen for a minute. Check out the pics below...

Wanna Learn how to Tie a Tie and Bow Tie

I always forget how to tie a tie and let me tell you i have learned so many times. Thanks to complex they have a video that shows you the step just in case you need to tie your tie and no one is around to help you hopefully you have a computer around lol...

My President is Great!!!

So i got up mad late this morning and got up right as the inauguration started which was ok because it seemed like half of America was down at the mall. I got to record the speech a most of the inauguration on my camera and once that was over p.dot my little brother and i got dressed and head to join the festivities. We took the metro into the d.c and i boosted that the buses were free today saved $2.50 lol.Everywhere we went it was packed with people going and coming back from d.c but it felt to see all these different people come together because of Obama. Once we got down there it was crazy we didn't to get that close to the parade but we got to share the historical moment with a lot of other people who were waiting in line to get closer to the parade. One thing i can say is that a lot of people made money off Obama, ever where i looked someone was selling something from t-shirts, calenders,c.d's,key chains and my favorite Obama Hot Sauce i have to get the video Patrice got of this man selling his Obama Hot Sauce lol. There was also this Ethiopian lady who had this sign that went hard she worked hard on it... what can i say east Africans go hard. But i had fun and i was glad to be in d.c on this historical day it was worth freezing my ass off. Its not because he's a black man its because he's the right man for the job... My president got Swag and boy is he great

Commonwealth/Adams Morgan/Metro Fun!!!

So last night was a ball, best fun i had since i been here and i want to thank everyone who was there especially Dizzy my right hand man aka twin. Patrice, Justin, Kyle, Chris and VJ was there too and it was really good to see the Philly crew. Besides that the vibe was cool as hell, i met cool peoples and the music was great. Also Bun B has to be one of the coolest celebs i have ever talked to, shout out to him. After the party everyone split up and me and pat pat ended up meeting some people and going to this spot called chi-cha (or something like that) Shout out to them they were a pack of cool ass people. It was nice in there we have to go back there one day, but after that we ended up going to some shisha place on Adams Morgan and got some food and did some peach flavored shisha. Good Times minus having to take metro back home but it was a fun adventure besides the cold ass weather (shout out to Washington Post and all those other newspapers we got that morning).
