So i woke up this morning feeling sick, thinking in my mind how doing all this homework is going to suck.But something hit me when i looked at the date to day is a very important day in my life not in a good way but it means a lot because it made a huge impacted. Before 2004 i never had someone that i knew die period, but as far as someone dying because another person took their life that was all new to me. Ahferom Neguse who i knew through the Eritrean Philly community had his life taken on Jan 2, 2004 in front of his house. His Birthday is on Febuary 8 which is the same day one of the coolest guy i ever met also got his life taken. Robel Medhin who passed on February 8 2005 was a sweet guy from Bronx, New York who had the biggest heart. Having a conversation with him you would ask yourself why does a person like this live in Bronx he was the type of person who would love to smile a joke around all day. From all the guys i know in NY i always had a big connection with Robel. He would always call with his random checkups and we would just laugh for hours on the phone. Robel reassured me that there were good guys out there like him, sometimes they just have masks on because the world isn't ready for nice people. So when i got that phone call to tell me that someone took his life, it broke me down like i never been broke down before. The friendship i had with Robel was more then people knew, he impacted my life in many ways so not having him here sucks so much not just for me but for all the other people lives he played a major role in. I love you Robel and i will never forget you babe...RIP
